Echo & Ryo at CKC Agility

Who couldn't love these faces. They are innocent now but they were also very tired. They had a big weekend at CKC Agility being super models and meeting a lot of new people. Of course after a long day of work a nice soft shoulder to sleep on is just what the doctor order. They do love my sister. Some people say they are spoiled but I say what good is it being a dog if you don't get a bunch of love. Maybe this weekend we can get some pictures while hiking. They are always up for a good walk.

CKC

Cogratulations to all the MACH winners at the CKC this weekend. Great job Calvin, Rocky, Kaela and Enya. Their handlers weren't half bad also :-) Let's also not forget the Coonhound Adara. She is the only Coonhound in the Nation to ever finish with her title. That is very special along with the MACH's. I also want to say congratulations to everyone who finished a leg to their title. A big hand to Jinx and Dexter. They both double Q'ed on both days. I had a lot of fun this weekend at the CKC Agility trial and met a lot of great people and their dogs. There where a lot of great athletes there. Thanks to everyone who stopped by and gave my dogs a treat. Every bit helps when you are trying to socialize a puppy. After this weekend I can't wait for them to get old enough to start agility. Guess I had better start with the house breaking and move up from there. Good luck to everyone at your future events. Hope to see you all soon.

Canine Fitness & Fun Center

Just wanted to say thanks to Rhonda and Koda and their great staff at Canine Fitness and Fun Center at 6336 Leetsdale Dr. They were great to work with and so were all the clients. Everyone had an absolutely great relationship with their dogs. It was really neat to see how all the dogs and owners (or pet guardians) really loved each other. I enjoyed spending the day there taking portraits of all the special pooches. Thanks everyone who came out for the portraits and I hope to see you at our fall portrait special or future picture days at the Fun Center.

Ryo

Here is the new little boy. After 1510 miles to Flagstaff and back he fit right in. As you can see Echo, Ryo and Rascal already get along well. Echo is the typical older sibling, she wants him around to play with and then wants me to take him back when she is done. On the whole she really likes him but that might be because so far she can run circles around him. His Scooby Doo feet don't know how to work together yet. Looks like he is walking around with suction cups on the bottom of his feet. If it wasn't for my sister I don't know what I would have done. A great big thanks to her for doing most of the driving so I could get to know my new pup. Already he follows me around everywhere. I don't get out of his sight. That is hard to do since he thinks my lap is the place to be. Great now but I am not sure about 50 pounds from now. He is a great dog and a love bug. I will keep you all posted.

Echo & Ryo

We are on our way to Arizona to pick up a big brother for Echo. Here is a picture of Echo when she was 3 months old. She is 5 months now and really needs a big brother to burn some of her energy. I just can't walk anymore. Seems like I am walking morning, noon and night to keep her energy down. Rascal the cat is just about ready to pack her bags and move out. As hard as Echo tries Rascal just won't play with her. The new addition is very exciting. Will post pictures of Ryo when we get back. Have a great weekend everybody.

Levy

Here is a portrait I did last weekend. I am now a believer that a cat won't head for the hills every chance they get. Bristol Creme hung around on the fence happy as could be. Can you tell what is Troons favorite toy. No cuz is safe in the land with Troon around. Then there was Killy. Very happy little dog that was always on the go. Troon and Killy are best buddies and don't get very far away from each other. They were really fun to shoot. Although I didn't think it was supposed to be 90 degrees at 6:30 at Garden of the Gods. They all did great despite the heat. Thanks for bring the crew out Pat.
